Being a Mum is exciting, joyful and exhausting. Mums are often overtired and find it hard to find time for themselves. The focus of these Yoga for Mums classes is on getting fit and strong, finding ‘quiet time’ for you while having your baby/toddler around.
As a Mum, being driven by demands of others, we sometimes forget who we are and to see how special our child is. In these classes we focus on finding some stillness and time for ourselves so that we can start enjoying our baby/toddler again. Also the classes will help you to build up strength and stamina. After all, when you feel good about yourself, you can be good for your environment, including your child.
The children can play alongside Mum, crawl around to explore the yoga studio and the toys, play with other children, or even join in and do some yoga too.
These classes also provide the opportunity to get in touch with and talk to other mums, something so important for new mothers.
You will learn:
- to become strong and flexible (while having some fun)
- core strength and pelvic floor exercises, and
- simple meditation and breathing exercises.
